Andrea Markway, Au.D., CCC-A

Audiologist

Dr. Markway joined The Hearing Health Center of Houston in the summer of 2015. She specializes in pediatric and adult cochlear implants and has experience in rehabilitation and vestibular testing. Dr. Markway earned her Honors Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from St. Louis University in St. Louis, MO and her Doctor of Audiology from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO (2011). She is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Dr. Markway can evaluate patients in Spanish with some interpretive assistance. 

Dr. Markway is originally from Quincy, IL but has since lived in a variety of places including New York city, Louisiana, Washington, D.C. and even Madrid, Spain. She enjoys walking and cycling along Houston's bayou trails with her husband and dog, Clyde. As a new Houstonian, she always welcomes new restaurant recommendations.

As of March 22, 2019, Dr. Markway will be unavailable for new and established patient visits as she will be completing a sabbatical in Beijing, China for the next two (2) years.
