Hearing Implants

Hearing Implants are designed for patients who have severe to profound hearing loss/ deafness, single-sided deafness, or conductive type hearing loss. If you would like to learn more about these devices, contact your audiologist.

• Cochlear Implants are designed for patients with moderate to profound sensorineural hearing loss with poor understanding of speech. Our audiologists help educate patients on whether they would be a good candidate for a cochlear implant. Please see our page about cochlear implants services for more detailed information.   • Cochlear Americas - Nucleus Profile Plus with Nucleus 7

  • Med-El - Synchrony with Rondo2 or Sonnet

• Middle Ear Implants are designed for patients with conductive or mixed hearing loss. These can be either surgically placed by an otolaryngologist or used with a medical grade adhesive with no surgery required, depending on the type and severity of hearing loss.
